Kelly has been practicing law for 23 years and has brought more than 25 cases to jury verdict with a greater than 90% success rate. She is passionate about creating equal opportunities in the workplace and is determined to fight for all employees. In addition, Kelly is a Board Advisor for the Albany Therapeutic Riding Center— a nonprofit organization that provides equine programs for people with physical and emotional disabilities. Kelly also volunteers with The Legal Project dedicating her time to the legal needs of the most vulnerable members of the Capital Region.
Over the last decade, Kelly has developed a practice focused on employment law. Her caseload has included representing employees that have experienced discrimination, sexual harassment, USERRA violations, and NYS and federal wage and hour violations. Her cases are filed in both federal and state court in New York State as well as with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), The New York Division of Human Rights (NYSDHR), the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (“OSHA”). Kelly is proud to have worked with multiple female law enforcement officers fighting to shatter some of the thickest glass ceilings in the public workforce.
